Apple will release a 6.1-inch iPhone with an LCD display, aluminum frame, and 3GB of RAM, but without 3D Touch, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In a research note obtained by MacRumors, Kuo added that the 6.1-inch iPhone won’t have a stacked logic board or an L-shaped battery pack like the iPhone X.
Kuo believes the 6.1-inch iPhone will cost between $700 and $800 in the United States, up from his previous $650 to $750 estimate. He previously said it will have Face ID like the iPhone X.
It’s unclear if the aluminum frame refers to the entire back, in which case the device wouldn’t support wireless charging.
