Nowadays, Disney definitely tries to reach for the stars, paying great attention to the quality of its animation, spending millions to add the tiniest of details. We don’t even notice most of them, but they all contribute to our viewing experience, helping us forget about the real world as soon as we turn on the movie, never wanting it to end.

Here at Bright Side, we’ve recently noticed breathtaking details in Disney cartoons, and they prove once again that the animators are geniuses.

1. In Frozen II, you can see the reflections of what the characters see in their eyes.

2. In Frozen II, all the clothing’s details, stitching, and texture are visible.

3. In The Princess and the Frog, the wallpaper shows the true nature of the character.

4. In Zootopia, crosswalks feature a zebra pattern.

5. In The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the gargoyles have water stains on them.

6. In Tangled, you can see Rapunzel’s reflection in Flynn’s eyes during the interrogation scene.

7. The action of Big Hero 6 is set in the fictional San FranTokyo. The bridge there is a mix of the Golden Gate Bridge and the traditional Japanese torii.

8. The dollar bills in Zootopia have bucks on them.

9. In Frozen II, Elsa’s profile is engraved onto the coins. Also, look at how detailed the table is — it even has scratches and scuffs.

10. In Moana, when Maui turns into a half-man/half-shark, his tattoo of himself becomes a hybrid as well.

11. In Hercules, the shadow is drawn very carefully. There’s a shadow of Hades’ bald head and the transparent shadow of the fire.

12. In The Hunchback of Notre Dame, when Frollo turns to the hooded figures during the song Hellfire, the light around him is in the shape of a coffin.

13. In Aladdin, when Jasmine steals an apple a vendor slams her hand on a table. The table has the marks that indicate he has cut off many hands for stealing fruit before.

14. In Frozen, when Hans talks to Elsa in the cold dungeon, he emits steam. Elsa does not since she’s a snow queen and “the cold doesn’t bother her.”

15. In Moana, when Moana first meets Maui, he gives her Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s signature look with his raised eyebrow.

What’s your favorite Disney cartoon and how many times have you seen it? Maybe you’ve noticed some other cool details in Disney movies! Tell us all about them in the comments!
